The Project
Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
is the most important credential a project manager can have.
This course prepares you to study for and
pass the PMP certification examination or the Certified Associate Project
Manager (CAPM) examination based on the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK)
Guide 4th Edition.
The course
consists of 35 in-class hours and covers basic project management concepts and terminology
as defined by PMI, focusing on the PMI project management process framework
organized by five process groups and nine knowledge areas.
Students discuss the
practical application of these project management processes in preparation for
the PMP exam and practice answering questions similar to those they could
encounter on the exam.
Note:
InterGlobe Consulting focuses on small group settings to accommodate different learning styles and to allow plenty of interaction. We offer PMP preparation trainings in the following formats:
5 day trainings on five Saturdays from 9am to 5pm
10 evenings on week nights (twice a week over the course of 5 weeks) from 5.30pm to 9pm
5 day trainings from Monday through Friday for corporate settings.
